Finalist of the EvaDress Patterns 'Hollywood is Calling' Challenge!

Congratulations to Heide for her entry as the finalist in the EvaDress 'Hollywood is Calling' Pattern Challenge! Her pink tulle dress is an amazing piece she created inspired by Doris Day in the 1953 production of 'Lullaby of Broadway'! As her sister posted on her behalf: 'Heide used the E50-9509 1953 Evening Gown Pattern. Three colors of tulle and handmade flowers. This example brought to you by Fripperies and Fobs at: https://fripperiesandfobs.tumblr.com/post/145009037326/evening-dress-ca-1930-from-kerry-taylor-auctions I chose this EvaDress Pattern to pair for the overall line, open strapped-front and back. The difference is, you can wear this one by day or create an evening look from it: This 9-piece pattern originally by McCall features optional cut-out at the front and back neckline via shoulder straps or, regulation collar with tie. A pointed lap detail from the under sleeve over the upper sleeve ties in with the diagonal seams of the...
