THE most important thing to know about ordering patterns from us is size!

Most of the patterns on this site adhere to a sizing standard which is NOT in use for modern-day wear. 

The majority of patterns offered on this site are according to the following dimensions.  A chart to show you how to measure for pattern size is shown on each pattern page.  

PATTERN NOT IN YOUR SIZE? I am happy to furnish an additional schematic showing where to adjust the pattern pieces with instructions on how to go about it upon request.

Ladies' sizes:

Size 12 fits 30" bust, 25 to 26" waist, 33" hip

Size 14 (closest to UK 8 and Europe 36) fits 32" bust, 26" to 27" waist, 35" hip

Size 16 (closest to UK 10 and Europe 38) fits 34" bust, 28" waist, 37" hip

Size 18 (closest to UK 12 and Europe 40) fits 36" bust, 30" waist, 39" hip

Size 20 (closest to UK 14 and Europe 42) fits 38" bust, 32" waist, 41" hip

Size 40 fits 40" bust, 34" waist, 43" hip

Size 42 fits 42" bust, 36" waist, 45" hip

Size 44 fits 44" bust, 38" waist, 47" to 47-1/2" hip

Size 46 fits 46" bust, 40" waist, 49" to 50" hip

Size 48 fits 48" bust, 42" waist, 51" hip

Size 50 fits 50" bust, 44" waist, 53" hip

size 52 fits 52" bust, 46" waist, 55" hip

size 54 fits 54" bust, 48" wait, 57" hip

Size 13 fits 31" bust, 25-1/2" waist, 34" hip

Size 15 fits 33" bust, 27" to 27-1/2" waist, 36" hip
