Here is the eighteenth, not unlike floral print holiday paper, a long day dress I made from Excella's circa 1934 Evening Gown pattern, 3494:
7-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Excella, The evening gown can be cut sleeveless or long sleeve with cut-away shoulders. There is also an option for cutting the back in a deep scoop, or higher square neckline. This pattern only has text instructions for construction and illustrated finishing details are given. 3/8" seam allowance is given.
This is an awakening for me as it pulls me back into the exciting clothing sewing patterns here. Somehow I’d lost my way to this site— but, I’m back for the opportunities to enjoy stunning curated clothing sewing patterns from the past.
