This is an unusual transfer pattern that has been reproduced in print for painting a number of designs on silk fabrics such as crepe de chine, georgette, pongee and chiffon. The designs may also be painted on cotton or linen.
It is recommended that the designs be transferred from this print to the fabrics using a washable transfer paper (such as wax-free Saral) between this paper pattern and the fabric to transfer all lines to the fabric.
This pattern is complete with instructions and color art as shown above.
Although a few years earlier, the pine cone motif may suit to embroider around the hem of this 1920 coat.
