An EvaDress 'Advents-Kalendar' of RED! Day 11

Alexandra Reynolds 1950s bias blouse EvaDress Patterns Kimono My Personal Dressmaking Pattern Tour

In a sort of Advents-Kalendar way, I will post 'red' for each day of December through Christmas and link the image as closely as possible to EvaDress Patterns (in pattern tour form) available in the shop!
Here is the eleventh,
1952 Key Hole Blouse
Sew the look using the same pattern I used to create this silk shantung doupini version above, originally by Butterick:
1952 Key Hole Blouse
The construction of this blouse is a design detail emphasis in itself, with kimono back and back of sleeve in one, yet the front blouse and front of sleeve are cut raglan. The stand-up collar evokes a Mandarin influence and the diagonal button closing at front insinuates a slimming surplice line. With key hole neckline, it would 'seam' this blouse has a little of everything!
