E-PATTERN 1949 Men's Western Shirts E3054
This is a 9-piece digitally-drafted pattern originally by Simplicity, 'The front-buttoning shirt has a shaped shoulder yoke in front and back, convertible collar and front band. The long sleeves, fastened with three buttons at the lower edge, have high shaped cuffs. In Style I, the yoke and cuffs are of contrasting fabric. Bound buttonhole pockets finished with arrowhead tacks are featured. Contrasting piping outlines the front band, collar, yoke shoulder seams and cuffs. Style II is embroidered with a leaf and horse’s head motif and overcasting with embroidery thread or crewel wool replaces the contrasting piping of Style I.'
The embroidery motifs are provided as black and white prints. One should transfer the designs to the fabric by going over with a stylus using a wax-free transfer paper such as Saral.
5/8" seams are given.
