1951 Evening Gown E50-1026
E50-1026; 1951 Evening Gown
16-piece digitally-drafted pattern originally by Modes Royale, 'A dramatic, strapless gown with a fabulously-draped tunic over-skirt'.
The long, boned bodice joins to skirt at high hip with upper and lower trim pieces for accent. The tunic over-skirt is self-faced, or you may even want to face it in contrast!
5/8" seams are given at all underarm (side) seams and 1/2" seams are given on all other edges.
You see Annabelle from Dark Garden Corsetry wearing one of her corsets with the skirt/over-skirt component from this pattern! (We think you could similarly shape the bodice to create a sweetheart neckline, as she is wearing too!)
Sizes:
Size set A fitting 12-20 (30" to 38" bust, 25-1/2" to 32" waist, 33" to 41" hip).
Size set B fitting 40-46 (40" to 46" bust, 34" to 40" waist, 43" to 49" hip).
Wear this gown with our long gloves pattern Acc50-8371!
