1939 Frocks D30-4344
D30-4344; 1939 Frocks
Originally by Lutterloh, for a soft and comfortable line, the skirt joins the waist front just above the bust and shirring is created over the waist with an overlay. Low V-neck is trimmed with lace in the short sleeve frock, and left plain in the long sleeve frock. Five dressmaker clips trim the center front seam. Short sleeve cap is pleated and has a dart lapping at lower end which fastens with hooks and eyes. Long sleeve is tapered to fit with a lower dart. The lower back waist and slightly flared skirt are pleated for fullness in the back and narrow sashes are sewn in to tie in back at the natural waistline.
