1936 Bridal Veils Br30-3043
Br30-3043; 1936 Bridal Veils
6-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Simplicity for the set of three veils, 'Choose one of these beguiling styles for the most important day of your life! Style I has a tiny cap; the veil folds over to form a cape and joins the cap. Flowers perch at the top. A youthful chin strap may be worn. Style II, a shorter veil, is worn over the face at front; flowers trim the head. Style III shows a halo of lace; the veil falls softly below'.
Head size 22". Measure your head with a cloth dressmaker’s tape about ½” above your eyebrows where the hat will rest. If you are without a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure it against a yard stick. Err on the larger size if your measurement is not exact. See diagram.
The gown shown in the photos is from this pattern.
