1933 Four-Piece Tuxedo SE30-1210
SE30-1210; 1933 Four-Piece Tuxedo
16-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Simplicity, this is an extremely rare pattern and the earliest one I have found for street trousers. Ensemble includes blouse with epaulet sleeves, jacket with French cuffs, wide-leg trousers with side pockets and front pleats and Tuxedo-style vest with deep lapels. Models in the original pattern art resemble Marlene Detrich, don't they!
Each trouser cuff measures 22" in circumference.
This style was featured in Simplicity's 1933 Summer Fashions Book.
1/2" seams are given.
Size:
Size 18 fits 36" bust, 30" waist, 39" hip.
PATTERN NOT IN YOUR SIZE? Upon request, I am happy to furnish an additional schematic showing where to adjust the pattern pieces with instructions on how to re-size the pattern.
